Cambridge Cadets Escrime an electric foil fencing club providing coaching and training for 8-16 year old fencers. Beginners are welcome and are invited to join once they have completed one of the short introductory courses run during the summer holiday and during term time by the club or Cambridge City Council’s Citysport.

Where & When:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights 6:00-8:00pm at Abbey Meadows School, Galfrid Road in the Barnwell area of Cambridge near Marshalls Airport.

What it costs:

Club subscription is from £55 - £70 per term. The fees may vary. Contact Lin Kingham for details.

Fees include coaching. A pool of fencing clothing and equipment is available for no charge for the first term.

Coaching:

Ken Kingham is the professional club coach. He has been coaching the Cadets for many years and the tremendous success that the club has acheived is fully due to his leadership and inspiration. Ken is regularly supported by Jay Alpey, Anna Crofts and Ted Briscoe.
