The Cambridge Open Air 2008 will be held on 6 July 2008 at St Bede’s School, Cambridge. The competition is a men’s and women’s open epee competition fought in the open air - an unusual competition supported by people who return to compete year after year. We are now past our 25th year of running the competition.

The next Intermediates course will have to be run in 2 sessions due to the unavailability of the main sports hall most of May and June. The second Lugano International Epee Open will be held in Switzerland on 12-13 April 2008. The competition is open to all fencers above 15, and several junior age groups will also be competing. Find out more here.

This is now under way and CFC has entered two teams so if you would like to fence  please let us know. There may possibly be an opportunity to fence against Huntingdon next Thursday as their venue at St Neots is closed and they are visiting CFC.
