The county novices competition will be held on 13 April at Sawston Village College, starting at 1pm. If you’d like to enter, Mike Lewis at the club will have entry forms closer to the date. It’s a nice introduction to competitive fencing, so if you’ve not entered a competition before it’s well worth giving it a go.

You’ll need to be a full BFA member, so if you’d like to enter, visit the British Fencing Association membership page and join up. Membership includes personal accident and civil liabilities insurance, copies of The Sword magazine, and eligibility to enter many competitions.
