Due to the hall closure announced earlier, the final practice session of the Oct-Dec 2008 Beginners Course is on the 9th week of the course, Thu the 27 Nov, 8-9pm, when we will have our Course tournament. Please do come along, even if you don’t feel ready to spar with your fellow course participants, you might get tempted to give it a try. Afterwards, we will adjourn to the pub. It was decided that the 10th and final course session will be dedicated to fencing theory. We will meet Thu 4 Dec 8pm at the Robin Hood pub (Cherry Hinton Rd, at Crossing with Queen Edith’s way). Please remember that your course fee entitles you to club membership until the end of the year, so you are very welcome to join the club handicap tournament on the 18 Dec (see extra notice). The natural continuation from the Beginners Course is the Intermediate course starting 29 Jan 2009.
